Going to Uni
is a great website for finding all the information you need about
getting into uni including fees, courses available, universities and
more.
Year 12
students apply for university entrance through their local Tertiary
Admissions Centre. In many states the same process is used to apply for
both university and full time TAFE diploma level courses. It is always

Qualifications
Whatever tertiary option you choose, you can be sure you will be
learning in a world class system. Australian VET and university
qualifications are recognised nationally and internationally.
Graduates can be confident that they have the education and skills
employers are looking for.
Australian tertiary qualifications are connected within the
Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) which allows easy movement
between vocational and technical education, universities and between
institutions. You can find out more about the certificate, diploma
and degree courses that make up the AQF at
www.aqf.edu.au.
The following table shows the AQF framework:

university courses but now there is also a strong trend of
university graduates enrolling in VET courses to gain some
