Over 50,000 young Australians aged 15-24 run their own business in hundreds of different areas, from manufacturing to retail. If you have a passion for something particular or have always dreamt of owning your own enterprise there is no reason why you should not pursue it.

Your business does not have to set off on large scale, you may want to start out small or do it part time as side project to your study or work. Examples of areas that require investigation before you embark on anything are market trends, competitor analysis, feasibility analysis, finding your niche marketplace, management and operation strategies as well as a success plan.
